Tour - Named Users

Named Users allows you (the administrator) to set and control who has access and what data can be accessed. Once you set up the Named Users, those users can access certain data, such as company data for employees, and are always validated before information is sent.


Named users would be used to control who can access data, such as company data for employees, as each user has to be validated before information is sent.


When a query is sent by a user, the user is first authenticated against their group permissions and messaging identity. If their credentials are validated, the query is run and the requested information is sent back to the user.
