How do I sort the query results?
|Top « Previous Next »|
Click the Sorting and Grouping of Results tab slider.
Here you can specify the order the data is reported back to the end user. For this example we will just order by company name from A to Z (ascending).
Note: The SQL GROUP ON statement is used along with the SQL aggregate functions like SUM to provide means of grouping the result dataset by certain database table column(s). See How do I work with Sum/Max/Min/Count/Average?
If you click back to the Define Criteria tab, you'll see the SQL statement has been updated to reflect these new conditions. (The Wizard does not get updated).
