The situation is different for different messaging applications. Instant messaging and GSM Modem require a keyword to be used. The reason for this there can be only one instance of each running on a computer so query requests must be distinguished by a unique keyword. Email and SMPP can have either of the following: 1. A unique email address/SMPP mobile number for each query
So, as a rule the following apply for using with or without keywords. A unique email address for each query, or an email address with a unique keyword for each query. A unique mobile number for each query with SMPP, or a mobile number with a unique keyword for each query with SMPP. A mobile number with a unique keyword for each query with a GSM Modem An instant messaging ID with a unique keyword for each query with each instant messaging provider. |
