How to use the reseller area
This guide gives an overview of how to use the reseller area for authorized resellers.
1. Login
Login at www.mobiledatanow.com/user with your email address and password
On the right side of the screen you will see the title MDN Resellers with various menu options.
Note: the management of your customers installations is built around unique installations. So, your customer will typically install MDN with the same email address all the time. Each time it is installed on a new computer, a unqiue installation is created and a reference number associated with it.
Once a purchase has been made, the customer will need to press the Update button in the Settings>>MDN User area for their new license to take effect.
1. My Customers
This screen shows your customers and allows you to:
- Edit Customer: Edit your customers details
- View Customer Installations: View the installation reference number and, edit the name of the installation and also make a direct purchase for the customer.
- Customer Purchases: This link shows the products and date purchased for customer installations.
2. Make Purchase
This screen allows you to make a purchase via the shopping cart. Use your promotional code to get your reseller discount and enter it in to the shopping cart. Once the purchase has been made go to the My Purchases link and assign the purchase to a customer.
3. My Purchases
This shows a list of purchases made for your customers.
Click Resell this Purchase and you will be given a list of your customers. Choose the appropriate customer to resell to and their associated installations will be shown. Choose the installation to complete the transaction.
4. Documents
This area contains documents such as the reseller manual, this guide, brochures and other marketing material
5. Logout
Logout of this area.
