While at CTIA we released version 1.3 of MDN. It adds the ability to import and export your projects which is good for a couple of reasons.
1. It's a quick backup and you can import your project to another computer
2. We'll release a project library soon which lets you export settings for common CRM apps and other database based applications and share them so others can import them in to their projects and get started straight away.
We're working on fixing up a couple of bugs at the moment, mainly to do with Microsoft SQL connections and a few inconsistencies with the queries. Then we can begin on implementing the sms gateway, finishing off the web services and a few other things tabled in the roadmap.
CTIA was interesting, but I don't think it was as busy for us as the Spring CTIA show in San Francisco. Our position at the show wasn't as good as we'd hoped so we didn't get a lot of general traffic, in fact the whole north hall was quite a bit more quiet than the central hall where a lot of the bigger exhibits were. Maybe it was a bit close to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Luckily our PR firm Future Works had setup a lot of interviews and analyst meetings so I was kept quite busy.
Ryan spent a bit of time the other day upgrading to OpenLaszlo 4 and got it compiling, so hopefully things work a bit faster. It also means we'll be able to offer a DHTML interface along with the Flash interface.
